We see families all over West Palm Beach. More of our visits land out in The Acreage than anywhere else, though we cover the whole city. Most West Palm appointments are about a 30 to 45 minute drive for us. Daytime and evening windows are the easiest to schedule, since traffic on 95 and PGA gets heavy around the morning and afternoon rush. I helped a family out in The Acreage one evening not long ago. They had a bonfire going and tiki torches lit in the yard, and their old pup still had enough left in him to chase his tennis ball a couple of times before we got started. He kept hold of that ball right to the end. Out under the stars like that, it was about as peaceful as a goodbye gets.
What a visit looks like
A visit usually takes 30 to 45 minutes from the moment I arrive, and I walk you through all of it before we begin. The euthanasia is a gentle two-step process. The first injection lets your pet settle into a deep, relaxed sleep with no pain or worry. The second lets them go peacefully. You have more options in West Palm than someone out in a small town would, and the larger services do real work. What you get with Rover is a small local team, and usually me on the phone and at your door. West Palm is part of my week beyond Rover, too. I work with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League providing low-cost spay and neuter for the public, for shelter animals, and for the feral cats around town. This community matters to me.
