Compassionate End-of-Life Care in the Place They Love Most

For many of us living in Palm Beach Gardens, our pets are part of the family, from morning walks near the Gardens Mall area to quiet evenings on the patio. When the time comes to say goodbye, the thought of a stressful car ride and an unfamiliar clinic can be heartbreaking.

There is a better way. Rover Veterinary Care brings compassionate euthanasia services directly to your home, serving families throughout Palm Beach Gardens and the surrounding communities. Dr. Katie Matzke ensures that your pet's final moments are spent in their favorite spot, whether that's a sunbeam in the living room or a soft bed on the porch, surrounded by the people who love them most.

Why Families Choose In-Home Pet Euthanasia

The Comfort of Home

Your pet remains in their familiar environment, free from the sights, smells, and sounds of a veterinary office that can cause anxiety. They stay relaxed in the place they know and love.

Your Whole Family Can Be Present

In-home appointments allow your entire family, including children and other household pets, to be present and say their goodbyes in a private, unhurried setting.

No Stressful Final Car Ride

Avoid the difficulty of transporting a sick or mobility-impaired pet. We come directly to your Palm Beach Gardens home, making the process as peaceful as possible for everyone.

What to Expect During an In-Home Euthanasia Appointment

We understand that this is one of the hardest days you will face as a pet owner. Dr. Matzke handles every step with dignity and patience.

When you call, we discuss your pet's condition and answer any questions you have about the process. We can also help you think through whether the time is right.

We offer appointments including evenings and weekends to accommodate your family's needs.

Dr. Matzke arrives at your home and gives you time to settle in. There is no rush. Appointments typically last 30 to 60 minutes.

We administer a gentle sedative first. This ensures your pet falls into a deep, pain-free sleep and feels no anxiety or discomfort.

Once your family is ready, the final medication is given. Your pet passes away peacefully while sleeping, feeling no pain.

We handle all aftercare arrangements based on your wishes, transporting your pet with the utmost respect.
