We come to you in Stuart
We make the drive up to Stuart regularly, usually once or twice a month. It is about a 45 to 50 minute drive from home. Daytime appointments are the easiest to schedule, away from the rush hours.
What a visit looks like
Every visit is unhurried, usually 30 to 45 minutes, and I walk you through each step before we begin. Your pet settles into a deep, relaxed sleep first, with no pain, and then passes gently. I make a clay pawprint to leave with you if you would like one. You can read the full start-to-finish walkthrough on our in-home euthanasia page.
Why home, not the clinic
There is a real difference between a goodbye at the clinic and one at home. At home, your pet stays in their own bed, in their own space, with the people and the smells they know. They are as relaxed as they can be. That calm is most of the reason families ask us to come to Stuart instead of making the drive at the end.
Monterey Animal Clinic in the area refers families to us.
Stuart sits outside our no-fee zone, so a small travel fee applies. You can check the exact amount for your address on our travel fee map.
